In one form or another, P.L.U.R. is the generally accepted ethos of EDM culture.

However, in my world travels to raves — from festival to festival, and club to club, spanning 5 continents and 30+ countries — one thing is for certain: the global EDM scene is definitely not unified.

There is no voice in the industry that is reliable across countries, cities, and venues globally. Much of the industry is fragmented or siloed off by sub-genre communities, event promoters, labels, and location-specific media platforms.

RAVE.FM aims to become this reliable global voice.

The opening
01

Clear brand to connect discovery, sets, live programming, access, and industry reach.

The 3 pillars ravers will come to rely on.

We tap into the behaviors ravers already have: finding their ideal vibe, re-living (or fomo-ing over) the past, and giving them a live signal to dance to between events.

01 — Discovery RAVE.FM ATLAS

Discover your vibe.

Festivals, clubs, set times, artists, reviews, harm prevention info, and local scene intelligence anywhere in the world.

RAVE.FM ATLAS
02 — Media RAVE.FM REPLAY

Relive the moment.

Watch the set you missed, run genre autoplay, and discover artists through the moments that made people care.

RAVE.FM REPLAY
03 — Broadcast RAVE.FM LIVE

Tune-in & dance.

A 24/7 digital festival with multi-genre sets, commentary, guests, takeovers, and live event integrations later.

RAVE.FM LIVE

Each pillar feeds the others.

Fans go to ATLAS to find festivals, clubs, artists, and schedules — all tightly integrated with the sets in the REPLAY archive. Both feed LIVE programming, and the opposite is true. All three become gateways to FAM membership.

Who we are · Why we’re building it

We want to help every raver find their vibe & tribe, like we have.

Gracie and I have raved from Brazil to Tulum, all over the US and Europe, to Phuket, Koh Samui (where we live now), and Japan. We feel the PLUR ethos in our bones. RAVE.FM is how we share it.

Behind the Rose Garden dragon.

Tomorrowland · Boom, Belgium · 2022

I went to my first festival, EDC Vegas in 2014, and felt like I was given permission to play like a child again — with a bunch of other grown children, no judgement, just pure joy. It was the first time I wasn’t too embarrassed to move my body to music in public.

For the next 8 years, life got in the way. I consumed years of recorded sets, aftermovies, and festival trailers, fully feeling the fomo until I could get back to that feeling.

In April 2022 I met Gracie in Austin on her birthday. She had never been to a rave. I knew from the moment we met she was the one who’d dance like a kid with me until the end.

Two months later we were at Tomorrowland in Belgium. I proposed behind the Rose Garden dragon on the waterfront. She said yes. The next year we held our wedding ceremony there too.

Since then we’ve raved everywhere — every genre, big and small festivals, mainstream and underground. Beach clubs in Thailand. Techno dungeons in Germany. Techno is to us what dubstep is to our friends Nick and Nicki.

More than anything, we love the love at these events. No matter how big or small, we can always find our tribe there — people who let down their walls, go back to their childhood, and just dance.

But the industry has cliques, gatekeeping, and fragmentation. There are no reliable voices that really “get it” across countries, cities, venues, genres, audiences. Hunting down the vibe in a new city is harder than it should be.

If we could spend every waking moment on a dance floor, dressed like freaks, surrounded by other ravers dressed like freaks — that’s exactly what we’d do. Since that’s not realistic, we’ll build RAVE.FM instead.

We can always find our tribe there.

Our core rave-family — the people who turned up for the proposal, the wedding, and most of the festivals in between. Techno is to us what dubstep is to Nick & Nicki. Moose holds it all together.

Distribution first. Products next. Festivals last.

A three-phase plan to build a real audience before turning RAVE.FM into membership, products, and events.

01

Build digital distribution, viewership, and brand equity.

ATLAS, REPLAY, and LIVE — fed by educational, viral, and utility content on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Build viewership and credibility before selling.

ATLAS · REPLAY · LIVE
02

Sell digital & physical products and membership.

Once the audience is real, launch FAM membership and carefully chosen products that match the community — fashion, earplugs, software, safety, and more.

FAMILY · FASHION · EARPLUGS · SOFTWARE
03

Sponsor and host live events.

Use distribution and revenue to make events less risky — city nights, special afters, and eventually RAVE.FM FEST — if the inspiration and demand are there.

FEST · CITY · PRESENTS · AFTERS

Build the audience before the festival.

Be useful and entertaining every day. Build trust with ravers first. Use that attention to support membership, products, partnerships, software, and events later.

If more participants in this industry truly understood and embodied PLUR, the scene would already be unified. We’re building the place that makes that easier.
